Cabinet prices
Kitchen cabinets in Dubai reach a home by one of two routes: flat-packed units from a furniture store, or made-to-measure cabinetry that a kitchen contractor surveys, builds and fits. This page is about the second. Every figure on it is one a UAE company publishes for its own cabinet work, and each cabinet quote we pass to a homeowner is checked against those figures first.
How much do kitchen cabinets cost in Dubai?
Kitchen cabinets in Dubai run AED 5,000 to 15,000 in published prices when the existing boxes are kept and refreshed, and from AED 12,000 for a small kitchen fitted with new cabinets, lighting and paint. Adding worktops and plumbing to a 3 x 3 metre kitchen lifts the published floor to AED 15,000. At the top of the market, Design Divine publishes luxury kitchen fit-outs from AED 120,000. None of the companies on our kitchen price guide prices cabinets by the unit or by the metre, which is why it lists whole jobs.
In what UAE companies publish, cabinet work is rarely priced on its own. It arrives inside a kitchen total, and the scope printed beside that total shows how much of the money is cabinetry. These are the published figures that name cabinets, each one fetched on 18 September 2026.

Two things stand out. The cheapest row is the only one that keeps the carcasses, so it only works where the boxes behind the doors are dry, square and firmly fixed. And between MBC's AED 15,000 kitchen and Vision Three's AED 55,000 standard kitchen, the published scope adds built-in appliances, specifies quartz for the worktops and names a door style. Cabinetry is one part of that jump. We ask every contractor to price the cabinet line apart from the worktop and the appliances, so the cabinets can be compared on their own.
A cabinet is three purchases in one: the carcass, which is the box; the doors and drawer fronts; and the hardware that moves them. Quotes drift furthest apart on the carcass, because nobody sees it in a showroom photograph.
Doors carry the look: lacquered or painted MDF, laminate, wood veneer or solid timber. Hinges and drawer runners carry the daily use, and a quote that names no brand for them has left itself room to fit the cheapest ones.
No published price or rule cited on this site gives kitchen cabinets a lifespan in UAE conditions, so we do not print a number of years. What can be said is where they give out. Cabinets rarely wear evenly. They fail at four predictable points, and each one can be designed out before the units are ordered.
Dubai Municipality's no-permit lists do not mention kitchen cabinets. The master developers are more specific, and they differ enough that one cabinet job needs only a gate pass in one community and a paid approval in the next.

Two details matter more than the table suggests. Every Emaar contractor needs an Entry Permit even for work that needs no NOC, and in an Emaar apartment the factsheet does not permit relocating plumbing or other MEP services, so a cabinet plan that moves the sink fails before it is priced. In DHCM communities, work that runs past one day needs a Minor Modifications Permit, requested in the community app no less than 24 hours before work starts. Not one of the companies on our price guide publishes a cabinet price for Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ajman. We confirm quotes there emirate by emirate instead of borrowing Dubai figures. What each emirate does publish is the approval route a cabinet job runs on.

The boxes stay; doors, drawer fronts and handles are replaced. The cheapest cabinet job anyone publishes a price for, and only worth doing on carcasses that are dry and firmly fixed.

The order
Measure every wall, window and service point, and check the old sink base for water damage before anything is ordered.
Carcass board and grade, door finish, hinges, runners and handles, written down so every quote prices the same cabinets.
Apply for the developer's approval or gate pass, and book the delivery inside the community's permitted hours.
Base units go in and are levelled first. The worktop is measured from the fitted cabinets, never from the old kitchen.
The sink, dishwasher and hob are reconnected, and the doors are adjusted once the worktop's weight sits on the units.
