Kitchen cabinet cost in Dubai

What kitchen cabinets cost in Dubai depends less on the name on the door than on what happens to the boxes behind it. UAE companies publish cabinet work in three shapes: the old carcasses kept and given new fronts, new cabinets in a kitchen that keeps its layout, and cabinetry drawn into a whole new kitchen. Each figure on this page is copied from the company's own price page, fetched on 18 September 2026, with the company named beside it.

Published cabinet bands, row by row

The table sorts each published figure by what happens to the cabinets, then by price, and companies that publish tiers get one row per tier. One row comes from First Unicorn Interiors, whose kitchen pages print several different starting prices; we quote only the card that names custom kitchens.

Two things in the table matter more than any single row. The makeover band overlaps the replacement band: at the top of its range, AED 15,000, new fronts cost more than MBC's own floor for a small kitchen with new cabinets, AED 12,000. On a small kitchen, then, refacing is not automatically the cheaper route. And no full-kitchen row separates the cabinet line from the worktop and the appliances, so a cabinet quote that arrives as one figure cannot be placed against these bands at all.

Is there a price per metre for kitchen cabinets?

Not in anything a UAE company publishes. Every figure above is a total for a described kitchen, and none states the length of cabinet run it assumes. You can still build a per-metre figure for your own comparison: ask each contractor to show the cabinet line on its own, measure the base run and the wall run, and divide each quote's cabinet line by the same total length.

That number compares quotes. It is not a market price. It only holds when both quotes count the same pieces, so check each one lists the tall units, corner units, end panels, fillers and plinths, because leaving them out lowers the figure without lowering the bill.

Refresh or replace: which costs less?

Refacing costs less only when the boxes are worth keeping. MBC's makeover band assumes the carcasses stay, so the whole saving rests on their condition. Three checks settle it before any money goes on new fronts.

1. The sink base. It takes the leaks. If its panel has swollen or its edges have gone soft, it needs replacing, and a makeover that leaves it in place puts new doors on a failing box.
2. Square and level. Open every door. A carcass that has dropped or twisted makes new doors hang out of line, whatever they cost.
3. The layout. A makeover keeps every unit where it is. If the sink, hob or fridge is about to move, new fronts are money spent on a plan you are changing.

What moves the price of kitchen cabinets?

• How many units, and which kind. Tall units, corner units with pull-outs and wide drawer units cost more than a plain base unit of the same width, so a quote should count each type separately.
• The door finish. Lacquered MDF, wood veneer, laminate and solid timber are priced differently, and the finish is the part you see, so it is where suppliers offer the widest choice.
• Handles or none. Vision Three's AED 55,000 to 90,000 standard kitchen specifies semi-handleless cabinetry, which needs a recessed grip profile or push-to-open hardware built into every unit.
• Hinges and runners. They take the daily wear, and branded soft-close hardware costs more than unbranded. Ask for the maker's name on the quote.
• Made here or imported. The luxury rows, from AED 120,000, are where imported joinery appears, beside Design Divine's luxury fit-out and Projeco Contracting's high-end kitchens.
• Built-in appliances. Integrated ovens, fridges and dishwashers need housings drawn to the model, one reason the rows that include appliances start higher.

Which fees sit outside a cabinet quote?

Cabinet prices cover the cabinets. The paperwork and site access for a Dubai cabinet swap are separate charges, published by the communities that levy them, and most are small next to the job. They still belong in the budget, and in the quote as named lines.

Tilal Al Ghaf's community rules also ask for 48 hours' written notice, naming the contractors, and a work permit before any works start, so ask the community whether a cabinet swap goes through its paid plan review. Two costs appear on no list at all. Taking the old units out and away is labour plus a waste run that some quotes include and some do not, and making good the wall and floor behind them is its own line. Kitchen cabinet prices outside Dubai

Cabinet quotes in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman are confirmed per emirate: no company on our list publishes a cabinet band for any of the three, and Dubai rows are not borrowed for them. What each emirate does publish is the permit a cabinet job runs on, and in two of them the fee: Ajman's Maintenance Permit is AED 1,000, and on Abu Dhabi plots within Tasareeh's scope a building maintenance permit is AED 2,000.
