Kitchen renovation cost in Dubai is published almost entirely as job totals: a price for a kitchen of a stated size and scope, not a rate per square foot. That suits a homeowner. A total for a named scope is easy to hold a quote against, provided the quote describes the same scope. Every figure below is quoted as the company publishes it.

Which kitchen bands do companies publish?

Each row is one figure from one company's own page, fetched on 18 September 2026. Where a company publishes tiers, each tier has its own row, so the same name appears more than once.

Read the table in three groups. The refresh and basic rows run from AED 5,000 to AED 55,000. The mid-range rows run from AED 50,000 to AED 150,000, and the spread inside them is specification: carcass, doors, worktop and whether the appliances are built in. What does a kitchen renovation cost per square foot?

Almost no one in the UAE publishes a kitchen rate, and that is worth knowing before a contractor quotes you one. The only company printing a rate gives AED 400 to 800 per square foot for a standard kitchen renovation and AED 1,000 to 1,500 for high-end finishes in one passage, then AED 600 to 1,200 for mid-range and AED 1,200 to 2,500 and above for high-end further down the same page. Every other source prices the kitchen as a whole job.

Ask for a total for your kitchen's size and scope, and use any rate you are given only to test that total. At the lowest of those published rates, a 3 x 3 metre kitchen would cost more than twice MBC's published AED 15,000 floor for the same size. That gap is why we compare kitchens by total. Which choices move a kitchen from one band to the next?

• The scope line. MBC's AED 12,000 small kitchen is cabinets, lighting and paint. Its 3 x 3 metre kitchen from AED 15,000 adds worktops and plumbing, and its AED 25,000 to 40,000 full kitchen adds design and appliances. Each step up is a separate line in a good quote.
• The worktop. Vision Three's AED 55,000 to 90,000 standard kitchen assumes quartz. A quote that swaps to laminate, porcelain or natural stone should say so, and its total should move with it. Our fitted countertops page covers what a fitted top includes.
• Built-in appliances. Integrated ovens, hobs and fridges sit inside the joinery and arrive in the same quote. Check whether a quote includes them before you compare it with a row that does.
• Imported joinery. The luxury rows start at AED 120,000, the band where imported cabinetry sits.
• Services that move. Not one published row mentions relocating a sink, a gas point or an extractor. A move is a separate line, and it is the line to question first.

Checking a kitchen quote against the bands

1. Match the scope, not the room: find the row whose description matches what the quote includes.
2. Check the appliance line. If appliances are in the quote, compare it with a row that includes them.
3. Find the relocation lines for the sink, gas and extraction, and ask what each one covers.
4. Ask what is excluded: authority and developer NOC fees, waste removal, and making good anything the works damage.
5. Compare totals, and check that each one shows VAT the same way; the hub's VAT guide explains why. A rate per square foot is a check on the total, not a price.

Is there a cheapest time of year to renovate a kitchen?

None of the companies on this page publishes a seasonal price, so we do not quote a seasonal discount. What the calendar changes is the working day. From 15 June to 15 September, federal rules stop work under direct sunlight and in open places between 12.30 pm and 3 pm, which touches deliveries and any cutting done outside. The fitting indoors carries on.

Community rules shape the week all year round. In Dubai Holding communities, minor works run Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm, noisy work only from 9 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm, and nothing on Sundays or public holidays. Emaar's 2026 villa rules allow noisy work from 10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm. A kitchen that takes three weeks in one community can take longer in another for that reason alone.

Every band in the table was published for Dubai. None of the companies on this page publishes a separate kitchen band for Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ajman, so quotes in those emirates are confirmed per emirate, and we do not estimate them from Dubai figures. What does differ, and is published, is the approval each emirate puts on the same kitchen.
